Value-Added Services - Harmony Castings

Services

From Design to a Fully Finished Casting

Harmony Castings is a one-stop shop for your next aluminum casting project. We work with many different subcontractors to provide our customers with fully finished castings, including heat treating, machining, and multiple finishing services. We want to simplify the purchasing experience and create an efficient, streamlined production process to provide our customers witha completely finished castings.

Machining

Harmony Castings offers precision machining services through trusted machining partners that complement the V-Process. Our partners support the complex geometries, tight tolerances, and finished dimensions of the V-Process to deliver finished aluminum castings ready for assembly or final use.

Heat Treatment

We have in-house services for both T-51 and T-6 heat treatment available for all castings we manufacture. Each heat treatment has its own benefits, including increased tensile strength, hardness, and artificial aging.

Painting and Powder Coating

Our painting and powder coating services provide durable, high-quality finishes that improve appearance, corrosion resistance, and protection from the natural elements. We work with approved finishing partners to meet our customers specifications for color, performance, and environmental requirements.

Chromate

Chromate conversion coating improves corrosion resistance while creating an effective surface for paint adhesion and additional finishing processes. This treatment is commonly used for aluminum components requiring conductive surfaces or enhanced environmental protection.

Anodizing

Anodizing enhances the natural properties of aluminum by increasing surface hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion protection. Available in a range of finishes, anodizing is well suited for components that require both durability and visual consistency.

Non-Destructive Testing

Harmony Castings supports non-destructive testing services to verify casting integrity without damaging the part. Through in-house X-Ray services and external qualified subcontractors, we offer inspection methods that can identify defects, and inconsistencies for critical applications.
